D'apprendre
provides a unique platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their
proficiencies and skills; also it provides a discussion forum for the
audience to interact with the best in the industry. It provides an
opportunity to witness their performance and to learn from them. The
overall idea behind conducting
D’apprendre
is to build a scaffold where the young inquisitive brains interact with
some of the gems from entrepreneurial world. Each
D’apprendre
workshop is organized around a particular theme of entrepreneurship.
D’apprendre is a
French term which means “To Learn" & here is an
opportunity to learn from successful entrepreneurs. It is a platform

Smriti is the Managing Director and CEO of Florista India Pvt. Ltd., that runs a chain of fresh flower retail stores, under the brand name - FLORISTA.
Florista today has presence in 4 cities and has plans for a national roll-out by December 2010.
Smriti, an electrical engineer by qualification, has spent over 14 years in the IT industry before starting out on her own.
She last worked for a German Software Company SOBIS (an IBM partner) as Joint. C.O.O., where her role was of Business Analysis and Development in European markets and overall operations of the company?s Mumbai division.
She was awarded the „Woman Entrepreneur of the year 2008? organized by Indian Merchant Chambers and Mariwala Foundation.

Amit Grover, Founder, is an individual with a passion for entrepreneurship. He is an IIT Delhi and IIM Indore graduate, and has previously worked with Infosys, Asian Paints and Onida. He is also a member of Mumbai Angels, a group of angel investors and has led over 20 early stage deals in last 3.5 years.
Nurture Talent Academy, India's 1st training institute for entrepreneurs, was started in January, 2010 to provide training, mentoring and support to budding entrepreneurs in the area of starting up like finance, marketing and business plan.
It has conducted 22 programs across 7 cities, attended by 300 entrepreneurs, with a satisfaction rate of > 90%. The vision is to nurture 1000 entrepreneurs in next 3-5 years, with a potential to generate 20000 jobs across the country.

A B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Madras and a PGDM from IIM, Bangalore in Finance, he started his career as a vendor development executive in Hindustan Motors.
After a brief stint in Fenner India and Asian Paints, he was with Marico for 15 yrs where he even held roles as Chief Finance and Information Technology and Chief Supply Chain and Information Technology.
Then he moved on as an Executive director of Deccan Emerging Business Ventures, the holding company of ventures promoted by Capt. Gopinath.
With over 20 yrs of experience in multi functional areas like Supply Chain Modeling, Business Technology deployment and Project Management, he is currently the promoter of COINLAB – Collaborative Innovation Lab, "A venture focused on developing and deploying frameworks for collaborative innovations."

Inkfruit, based out of Bombay, is an online community of designers where artists across the world can participate by uploading their creations. Through a voting process, the community collectively decides the most popular products and announces them for sale every week. The company sells its products internationally through its website and domestically through retail distribution.
Prior to co-founding Inkfruit with friend and IIT Batchmate, Navneet Rai, Kashyap was a Sales and Marketing Manager with Hindustan Unilever Limited.
Kashyap is a B.Tech - Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay (2002) and a PGDM (Finance/Marketing) from IIM Lucknow (2004).
