Elevator Pitch
Elevator Pitch is a unique initiative of Empresario started in 2006 and
has been receiving an overwhelming response from both student and
corporate communities.
Elevator Pitch is a shorter and more difficult version of B-Plan
Contest. This event provides a platform to larger number of aspiring
entrepreneurs to present their business idea in not more than 2 minutes
in front of a panel of judges comprising of leading VC’s,
Incubators and Bankers.
Elevator Pitch is about judging the ideas which have potential to
generate business, measure clarity of business ideas and its execution
plan.

The Concept
Stage I (The Prelims)
It is preliminary round .On the basis of executive summaries submitted,
20 Student Teams are short listed. 10 Working professional teams (Team
Size = 2) will also be short listed on the basis of executive summaries
invited in specified template. Such way 30 teams are selected to
participate in this event.
Stage II (Elevator Pitch Idea
Presentation)
Teams/Individuals will be presenting their Business idea in not more
than 2 mins in front of a panel of distinguished judges. The panel will
comprise of leading VC’s, Incubators and Bankers. Visual
Presentation aid like PC based presentation or charts/posters is
allowed.

Rules & Requirements
- Elevator Pitch 2009 is open to all students of management
and engineering institutes and working professionals.
- A Team can consist of a maximum of two Persons.
- No person can be a part of more than one team.
- One team can submit only one entry.
- The members of the team may not be necessarily from the
same institute/organization.
- There is no restriction on the number of teams from an
institute/organization.
- The student participants have to send their executive
summaries latest by 15th September 2009, while working professionals
have to send their executive summaries latest by 20th September 2009.

with subject ElevPitch_College/Company
name_Team name.
- Executive summary should be in PDF format
- The executive summary should be of maximum three pages
including the Title page. First Page must be title page only.
- Cover page should contain Project name, Team leaders
information (name, email id and contact number) along with other
members information, institutes/organization name.
- Executive summary will be evaluated on the basis of
Identification of opportunity, Idea and its Innovativeness, strategy of
execution, market opportunity, organization structure, financial
requirements, Revenue and growth potential.
- Format details: Times New Roman, 12 point, 1.5 line
spacing, 1" margins all around, A-4 page
